Mutual Fund vs. ETF Trading Expenses

ETF trading has become quite popular in recent years for a number of reasons. One of these is its relatively low expenses. Generally speaking, ETFs have lower expenses than a mutual fund because they do not have pricey management fees. In addition, one can invest in an ETF with a smaller amount of money than the $2,000 minimum amount some mutual funds require.
